Adding a water feature can be a functional way to drowned out noise pollution. Water features usually consist of a pump that sits submerged in water and is pumped to the top of a fountain allowing water to cascade down into a collection basin where the pump is located. The pump plugs into an electrical outlet. The size of the pump can vary depending on the fountain. Pictured below is a recent project we completed in Carmel-by-the-sea which included a new lawn, new plantings, a fountain, landscape lights and a flagstone pad for the bench.
