This landscaping project located off Hwy 68 in Monterey County consisted of a small Decomposed Granite patio and garden path. To construct this DG pathway and patio we first excavated 8" of soil and brought in 6" of base rock which we retained with steel edging. Next we compacted the baser rock with our vibrating plate compactor and rolled out gopher wire. Finally we spread 2"-3" of Decomposed Granite and compacted the DG. Once we finished the DG we softened the landscape with low water consuming plants and drip irrigation. Carmel Point Landscapes specializes in drought tolerant landscapes in Monterey County and is staffed to handle all aspects of your landscape project. Call us if you need help.
