Custom water feature in Tehama, Carmel Valley.

This residential landscape design and installation located in Tehama, Carmel Valley consisted of a custom water feature using 3- 34" diameter Corten Steel bowls. To build this water feature we first had to go through great lengths to find the Corten steel bowls which was the hardest part of the landscaping project. We built this fountain using concrete block and waterproofing and also added a drain so the basin could be easily emptied and cleaned. Next, we faced the water basin with Western Cedar. To protect the Cedar we brushed on a marine grade wood finish that we picked up at Western Marine. Under the cap we installed ledge lights which could be controlled by smart phone along with the fountain.
