Building a Cut Stone patio in Carmel Valley

This landscape design and installation project in Tehama- Carmel Valley was constructed by some of the most talented and skilled craftsman on the California Coast and I am beyond stoked to call them my employees. These skilled men cut every single stone to make this landscape project happen- turning raw, irregular slabs of Arizona Buckskin select into patio tiles. To construct this patio first we had to form and pour a foundation. Then we cut and laid out the stone. Once we were happy with the pattern we mudded the stones down and grouted the joints. Outdoor living is the hottest trend of 2021 and something tells me this trend will continue long into the future.
